Endo Plugger & Explorer

Glick #1 : A double-ended endo plugger:

• One end is flat and blunt, used for condensing gutta-percha or temporary fillings.
• Other end is sharp and angled, similar to an explorer, for placement or removal of materials.

DG 16 : A double-ended endodontic explorer, extremely thin and curved:

• Designed for locating canal orifices, especially in narrow chambers.
• Fine tips access tiny openings without damaging dentin.

DG 16/17 : Same DG 16 tip on one side, with a #17 explorer on the other:

• DG16: canal location
• 17: broader use, caries detection or tracing fractures

DG 16/23 : A hybrid explorer:

• DG 16 end for endodontic work
• 23 end (shepherd's hook) for examining caries, calculus, margins.

D111 : Typically a plugger with double-ended flat tips or fine paddle-shaped ends:

• For condensing materials in canals or cavity preps.
• Less sharp than Glick; more for pressure and adaptation.
