Crown Spreader – Overview

A Crown Spreader is a manual dental instrument used to split or loosen crowns or bridges by applying lateral pressure. It is especially useful when dealing with split-type or two-piece crowns, or for loosening restorations before removal.

Applies outward (wedging or separating) force between two points under the crown or bridge retainer.
