BUR #1 (Burnisher #1) Shape: Small round ball. Initial condensing and smoothing of amalgam/composite in small areas or pits. Classic use: Tight occlusal spots, Class I fillings

BUR #27/29  Smoothing marginal ridges and occlusal surfaces; adapting matrix margins. Versatile for both anterior and posterior restorations.

BUR #21B Occlusal surface contouring, burnishing matrix band edges. Ends: Typically football-shaped and ball or flat end. Less common but used in multi-surface restorations. "B" usually indicates a ball-end variant

BUR #34 Final surface contouring, large occlusal contact burnishing. Both ends football (egg-shaped) or paddle/flat-burnisher type. For: Broad restorations, posterior fillings
